Is anyone else sick of pitch counts, i understand protecting investments but come on. Being a former pitcher in college the only time i got hurt was playing second base. alot to be said for being properly stretched out, i was a starter and at least threw a 40-50 session every day. i like being stretched. seems like pitch counts and inning counts are out of hand. most lower level injuries are bad mechanics not overuse.
rant over and yes this comes from a pitcher who had shoulder surgery.
