Watching him pitch for a couple years now, I cannot figure out how people hit so well against Justin Masterson.

The league is hitting almost .290 against him.

Does anyone else feel this way about a guy with terrible results?

I agree. I also think king Felix and jered weaver should ne unhittable. I always thought Jeff weaver looked unhittable too. To bad his bong. Wasn't unhittable.

Felipe P should have a better record than he does
His stuff is too good to be sitting there with such a lousy record
Partially his fault (seems to have one bad inning in many starts) and partially fact that Astros blow

Brandon Morrow. He has showed it in flashes, but 95-97 with a hammer of a curve should really get you better results more often.

Rick Porcello-Mid 90s heat combined with one of the better sinkers in the game and changeup and slider that have both been great at times. I was thinking he would have another decent year but with the exception of a few starts, he hasn't been very good. He's still only 21 though, so lots of time to figure it out.

Before this season, I would have said Ubaldo Jiminez. Always seemed to be on the verge of greatness but never put it together. I think it's safe to say he has figured it out.

I have to believe there is a lack of quality 'game calling' going on behind the plate. That and a lack of location command. Masterson is a odd, but good hurler. I just do not think he has great placement or proper help from behind the plate.
