Hey Guys

The NSCC head count will be Friday night of the National and will be walking distance from the show.

It will feature all the major manufacturers armed with prize support for a free raffle at the event. Ask anyone who went last year, prizes were sick. It will have a cover charge of about $15 per person to cover food.

If you are going, please post here or let me know.

Hey Chris,

You had stated a few days ago that something would be planned for Thursday. Is Friday night the only option you have?
The reason I'm asking is because I always go to ours and to the Net54 meet-ups every year with a buddy of mine who is a member of both sites. Unfortunately Friday night is they're get together as well and the 2 meet-ups have never conflicted before.

Just need to know for sure. Thanks.

EDIT: You should make this a sticky.

The Venue is still up in the air. There are a couple of possibilities though.

And I'm sorry about the conflict with N54 I don't know that it can be avoided.

I went last year, it was a great time.....If your going to the National I would recommend that you attend this get together. My table alone landed some great prizes and out of the boxes given away, some of them pulled some great cards as well.

I will be there assuming I end up getting up to Baltimore. I'm about 75% right now.

I'll go.

Will I be able to redeem my Panini redemption cards there? Do I need to call ahead to tell them which cards I'm redeeming?

edit: only axing because I pulled a Machado red status auto today.

Will your friend's parents allow you to bring the highly anticipated Wagner fold-out card for us to have a gander at? Better yet, I'd call Lelands and see if they would be willing to put it on display beside the Ruth jersey for all to see because it would simply not be fair to the rest of the world if we selfishly kept the incredible Wall Thing Find to ourselves at the meet-n-greet.

No problem Chris. Obviously my loyalty is to FCB so plan on at least 2 of us as it will probably end up being TonyH and I.
If you could make this a sticky for all to see along with the eventual venue, time, ect. we would appreciate it.

And of course, Thanks for setting something up for us. It was a lot of fun last year meeting, greeting, and or course eating and I'm sure this year will be no different.

Cheers.

For anyone attending, I have an expired redemtpion card for a quad auto from 2009 SPX.
If anyone can get turn this in for me and I win, I will split whatever I make off of said item.
The details are below. Please note you have to turn the card in before 4pm on Saturday and be present at 5pm. They are giving away some sick sick sick cards!
Collectors may bring up to five (5) unscratched, expired redemption cards, FROM ANY MAJOR MANUFACTURER, to the Upper Deck Booth before 4:00 p.m. to take part in a special expired redemption card raffle.Upper Deck will have OVER 100 PRIZES available in this raffle consisting mostly of limited autograph cards, but also some select memorabilia and unopened product. “The Upper Deck Redemption Raffle”will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening where we will pull unscratched, expired redemption cards for fans in attendance and reward prizes. Collectors must be present at the Upper Deck booth during the 2012 National Sports Collectors Convention to win. Again, to participate, the cards must be a sports redemption card from any major trading card manufacturer that features a scratch off code that has not been scratched.

I tried to PM you, but it's not showing up in my sent messages folder. Please let me know if you got my message or not. I'd love to help you out, since I'll be at the National all five days, and since I already owe you for an autographed Jack Clark bobblehead you sent me last summer.

I wish I was coming to the National this year. Anyone who is on the fence about going to the FCB gathering, it is well worth it! Tons of great giveaways and great food last year!

Randy, are you planning to come to the National next year? I really enjoyed meeting you and Jantz last year. Go Blue!
