Just kidding. Amazing stuff as always Dave! I'm surprised how quickly you got to 9. They're all sweet though. Here's hoping you snag number 10 quickly and easily!

Don't have it anymore, but I pulled the randy johnson "big unit" inscriptions back in the day- I wonder where it is today?
Could it be the one in my sig? :D I bought it off Raymond, who bought it off ebay. Not sure if it was you or not that he got it from.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I don't think it's the one in your sig, unless it's a 1/1. I remember the auto and inscription were off to the upper left - not very well centered in the space of the card.
Here's a better shot. I don't have the 1/1. So you pulled the 1/1 is what you are saying? You don't happen to still have a scan by chance?

Or remember what is sold for?? Would like to add it to my spreadsheet...

Yah, I pulled the 1/1 for randy johnson, as well as the Mike Piazza 1/1. I sold both to a dealer who put them on ebay, and I can't remember exactly how much they sold for in 2005, but I believe the unit went for something like $200 and the Piazza for $250. Sorry no scans- didn't have a scanner back then!

Thanks Charlie, imac, match, Alex, Joe! 8-)

Brouthercard- thx for the info! $200 is a helluva steal. The Johnson immortal 1/1 today would fetch... oh, what do you think, John? $800-1K?

Now Piazza doesn't have an immortal inscription. Do you remember if you pulled the Decades or the Numbers platinum? I have a recorded sale for the Numbers 1/1. Never seen the Decades version. Sorry for the thousand questions ;) I love to dig up info on the set ;)

Dave-

Do you have recorded sales for the Platinum Decades and Numbers Jim Rice auto's?
I have never seen them offered before and I am wondering if they are unopened at this point.

I agree the unit would sell for multi-fold today compared to what it sold for back then. The Piazza was the numbers platinum -how much exactly did it sell for (i want to see how good my longterm memory is)?

Keith, I do not have any records of the platinum for Rice. Probably still buried. :(

I was second place in bidding for the Piazza Numbers. :( It went for $212. I should have bid higher I would have loved to have won it.
