My wife gives me the look of you bought what, everytime the mail stops by the house. Glad she is supportive of my passion.

My wife gives me that same look too. She just pretends I don't spend money I think.

+1 here too I hit all 10 on the list. Should have seen my wife's face when told her I bought a macaroni and cheese box.

I'm much worse as I meet all 10 but search google for Olerud news 10 or more times daily and often find myself going 100 pages deep looking for stories blogs archives of boxscores. I also have my own Olerud china plate and stein with his 1993 Toops card

I've never gone 100 pages deep on Google but maybe 50 for Matheny. Wow.
It is an addiction.

2. Love your cards…I don’t mean “like,” I mean love them to the point that you’d rather lose a body part than to have your collection lost/stolen. Maybe not more than a body part, but I think the loss of my Butler collection would be more devastating than losing my '48-present Dodger collection. At least all of that can be replaced - many items in my Butler collection cannot.

3. You search EBay 10 times a day just hoping you get that card that was just added with a BIN option. Not 10 times, but at least 3.

4. You search the completed listings on EBay even though you know you’ll just be torturing yourself on the off chance that something slipped through one of your million searches. I'm not too bad on this, but I have done it from time to time.

5. You love seeing other people’s player collection websites/posts unless they are of your player and then you secretly hate them… a little. I love looking at other PCs - don't have any real rivals with mine; I'm grateful for that.

6. You’re favorite threads on FCB are the ones about errors and variations that open your eyes to new cards you now must obtain. Couldn't agree more with this one.

7. You Google your favorite player’s name once a month even though you know nothing new is out there. I actually do this, but more infrequently than once a month. However, in doing the Google search several days ago, I learned that Butler had been named the new Reno Aces manager (AAA Diamondbacks).

9. You continue to collect even though your wife/significant other gives you that, “How old are you?” look. ( I make no apologies) I don't necessarily get that look, unless the credit card bill gets too high.

I am positive on 9 of the 10. I doubt I would give up a body part for my collection. That said if I cought someone trying to steal it I would likly take a few of theirs.

On google, I have about 15 searches that I do on a regular basis looking for certain imposable to find items. I also spend a lot of time on graigslist for those odd ball items from sellers who have no idea what they have.
