Player collections: Is there a player you wish you had collected?

I don't think I have second thoughts about who I collect or collected but I guess I wish I would have spent more going after Belle cards and less on the hobby overall back in the day... I guess I also wish I would have continued to go after Belle cards during the ~10 years he was away from the hobby but I guess I was too busy being a junior/senior in HS and getting through college, etc. Either way, no real second thoughts about collecting Belle.

Nah...I started with the guy I did for several reasons, none of which I regret. It was a very calculated decision. But...that said, I have some where around 50 three row boxes that hold my other player collections. So...I suppose for this question, I don't apply. Are there guys I wished I had more stuff of? Yes. I'd love to push my Josh Beckett and Scott Kazmir collections along a bit further as well as my Stackhouse collection. But, I usually buy their stuff when Bagwell stuff dries up from time to time.

I couldn't afford to collect a second player, but Mark Mcgwire was a favorite to go for (Still have all of his early stuff, maybe 1500 different?) and Ben Grieve after I met him would have been an inexpensive collection to go for. Shoulda coulda woulda.

Wish I would've kept going harder after Big Hurt. Would've cost me a ton though ...

And Bobby Abreu. I still pick up stuff, but wish I would've spent more on some of those rarities.

I love that you mentioned Ben Grieve. I've always been a fan of the guy and occasionally find myself picking up a card or two here and there. His cards, along with Travis Lee's, remind me of my youth.
