Collect both and find out which one you prefer to collect. I started collecting Eric Chavez and Ben Grieve at the same time and ultimately decided on Chavez. Having someone tell you who to collector or not collect doesn't seem like a good formula for enjoyment or long term player collecting.

For low-dollars, go for Adam Jones...
Wieters is always expensive. Buy now or offseason or else who knows he will improve his skills next year...

Why not start on Chris Tillman? Brian Matusz? Josh Bell? Nick Markakis (I think Markakis8 will hate me for saying that!)

Boog Powell would be interesting...Was leaning more towards Reimold than Weiters

^This^...the fun of player collecting to me is because of the way I connect to the player. Growing up watching ED play he quickly turned to my favorite player. I changed positions from SS to CF in Little League based solely on playing the same position as him.

I've since tried to start other player collections, but just can't get the same excitement as I do when I haul an ED card I don't have. So, I recommend finding that player that you really enjoy watching play and go with it...good luck!

Just to let you know that I have the Nolan Reimold 2005 Bowman Chrome RC Superfractor 1/1 and the Red Refractor 1/1. Will scan them tomorrow for you.

I have not collected any of his recent Reimold cards such as 2009 Bowman Chrome Auto. They are HOT!!!

ive told myself im not going after any 1/1's unless its a good deal. im not going to stress myself out like i did with my Blalock collection. I bid on your Gold PSA 10 you just sold but obviously lost.
