I am nearing 290 Haf 1/1s (including those incoming), which is 31.5% of the Beckett number. The problem is that Beckett only counts M&M Reds ONCE, so there really 1,050+ 1/1s out there.

So let's see...

Harold Reynolds has 332 listed cards with only 14 1/1's (4%), this is the only one I own:

As for Mike Sweeney has 2293 listed cards with 364 1/1's (15.8%). I own zero!

Brian McCann

1,122 Total Cards
310 1/1s

27.6%

of those, I believe I have 15, or roughly 5% (don't collect plates, which no doubt accounts for most of them)

131 of 722 are 1/1's on my Santo Checklist for a nice 18%. I have bought every 1/1 that has appeared on ebay for the past 6 years with the exception of a 2006 GOTG 1/1 auto bat barrell that someone paid 560 bucks for.

Hell I don't even worry about plates.

This is how I feel about base cards, which is why I don't collect them. IMO, they are vastly more insignificant than plates and you end up wasting beaucoup money on shipping.

Plates don't bother me in the least. Most are better than mass-produced 1/1s (M&M Red 1/1s for example), and some are extraordinarily better. They aren't always pretty, but none have made me turn away in disgust either. Obviously there are a lot of collectors who feel otherwise, but I'm always game for adding a 1/1 to the PC as long as the price fits the card/plate.

That said, I would rather have a 1/1 auto, 1/1 game-used, or 1/1 auto/game-used card ANYDAY over a plate.

Aaron Rowand: 881 Cards, 260 are 1/1, or 29.5%
I'm pretty sure I passed the 50 1/1 mark for Rowand, so I'm at about 20% of the 1/1s.
