2001 Donruss Best Silver Set /499
2001 Donruss Best Gold Set /99

Based on the interest it is very likely that the set will be broken up and put in auction format. I have had multiple pm's for some of the same players so that is why I will do it that way. I don't want to spam the auctions so what is the best way to alert people to the auctions? I also want FCB to benefit, so how does the FCB auction work?

I am back in town for a couple of days. Will try to get some scan up in this thread of some of the cards. The cards have a very HEAVY gloss on them and the card stock is thicker then I remembered. I went ahead and seperated the set into teams. Many of the players have two cards in the set. My Gold set is 06/99 and the Diamond King Subset is 02/99 [have those 5-cards prepared for grading.

I am considering breaking up this set and listing on the bay when I return from NYC, August 8th. I was curious who has yet to get their player card from this set. Only 99 were produced.

Those are the three sets included. I have had those Pujols prepared to travel to BGS since 2001. Just lazy. I also have a Silver Donruss Baseball BEst Set still in the wrapper. The silver and gold were pleasant surprizes. I have what $325 in the three sets, so I think I will make some money on them. I possibly will send the entire Diamond King Set to BGS with a minimum 9 grade. Those are really nice in person.
