Player collectors - fav, least fav, most random pairings

As a player collector, multi-player cards aren't my favorites. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't - and it's subject to personal opinion. So for this thread, let's see 3 cards representing the player you most like to see paired with your guy, the player you hate seeing paired with your guy, and the most random player paired with your guy.

Favorite pairing: Grace and Ryne Sandberg

Least favorite pairing: Grace and Sammy Sosa

Most random pairing: Grace and Casey Kotchman

This was actually fun going through trying to find a "random" pairing since one didn't immediately come to mind and browsing through my collection one just hit me and made me chuckle a bit.

Favorite Pairing: Brooks Robinson/Eric Chavez (I like the throwback connection) My favorite modern connection is Eric Chavez/Troy Glaus

Least Favorite Pairing: Adrian Beltre/Eric Chavez (This is probably the most common pairing which is one of the reasons it's my least favorite, but I am also not a huge fan of Beltre to begin with)

Most Random Pairing: Brett Boone/Eric Chavez (Only thing in common is the league/division they are in, they aren't even on the same side of the infield)

Random: This. Even though the pairing makes sense as per the set, you'd never guess that these two would be on the same card. A close second would be the Michael Young/Jorge Posada 09 ballpark collection dual jersey that I don't currently have a scan of yet.

My Favorite, even though the Giants won the World Series last year my fondest memories were from the 1989 season and these two represented that whole season. Only card that could be better for me would be a Will Clark/Robby Thompson pairing:

My Least Favorite, I was going to go with a Clark/Grace , but this pairing has never made sense to me. Palmeiro hated Clark, he always felt Clark got too much credit and he didn't get enough. Funny thing is they were teammates in college and Clark then replaced Palmeiro in both Texas and Baltimore:

Don't really know why they are on the same card to be honest. A Yankee, a Tiger. A first basemen, a pitcher...

Favorite:

My favorite combination has been done many times and that is Ozzie/Ripken. This is my favorite card with the two of them. The card was made with one player/side regular and the other side/player Dufex so you have to get both cards in order to have both combinations.

Least Favorite:

Didn't really like this guy before he was on the Cards and absolutely hated him after.

Most Random:

Yeah.

I like it because I am also HUGE Liriano and Morneau fans (not just because they are Twins) and I didn't have to pay a lot for the card, thanks to Perk.

My least favorite:

I like the players on the card, but multi-autos w/some big names are really pricey.

I don't have a scan, but it is my Oliver w/Perk back error. It's just sooooo random... I am hoping there is a Glen Perkins w/Oliver back to go with it.
