I finished scanning 5000+ Ripken cards (front and back, no matter the value) in November. It took me about 6 months (on and off) including hyperlink(ing?) them to my checklist. Now If I want to see the image of the card from my checklist, no problem. A lot of work at first, but it's all worth it in the end...

I regret not doing the backs when I did my Mark Grace collection, but started scanning those 12 years ago. When I built my Don Zimmer site, I started from the beginning doing fronts and backs. Definitly the way to go, there will be times you'll need the back info.

I only scan the backs when the front scan won't give an indication of what the card is.
