Wait, I finally thought of one. Yeah, there are still 3000 other Bagwells I need, but I have yet to see a Bagwell 97 SPx Steel... Bigfoot status perhaps? Definitely not high dollar enough to be my white whale.

For me, it's easily the 1914 Cracker Jack Shoeless Joe Jackson. A new book detailing the set is awesome. I got an advanced copy and did a review if your interested.

White Whale = 2008 UD Masterpieces #95 Warren Spahn Red 1/1 AND 2012 Gypsy Queen #265 Spahn Framed Black 1/1

Bigfoot = 2012 Gypsy Queen #265 Warren Spahn Magenta Printing Plate

I need the magenta plate and the framed black to complete the rainbow on the non-mini's. Haven't seen the framed black yet, but I DID see the magenta plate on eBay. Lost it due to a last second internet problem!!!

As for the 2008 Masterpieces Red 1/1, I'm not sure these even exist but I'll wait a couple more years for at least one...ANY...to emerge before I write it off.

I haven't been in the hobby for several years so there is a lot of new stuff I need to catch up on, but mine would have to be the 1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold. The only copy I have ever seen is a PSA 10 listed on Ebay right now for $2,500.

1998 Leaf Fractal Materials Z Axis die cut Hideo Nomo #176 - I want to finish this set off badly and this is the only card I need. I offered a finders fee of $100 to anyone attending the National over on the Blowout boards if they help me find it and I am able to purchase one. Offer stands for anyone here as well.

I got my two Will Clark White Whales - the 1990 Donruss Aqueous and 1992 Donruss Diamond King Super. Never thought I'd have a chance at them. Right now, I'd say the cards I'd most want are the very few I'm missing from my 2005 UD Heroes set. You can check out my progress here: 2005 Will Clark

Big Foot-2001 Fleer Authority Diamond Cuts Base #104 Frank Thomas/250
Beckett lists this on their website but I have never seen one and being limited to 250 you would think one would pop up by now.

White Whale-2008 Upper Deck First Edition Jerseys #FEFT Frank Thomas Jsy/750
Only seen one sell on eBay when they first came out. Apparently they only came in factory sets.

1998 Bowman Chrome Golden Anniversary Refractor (5) #259 Travis Fryman. One came up (no picture) probably 10-12 years ago, but I was not able to get after it. This is a close second: 2002 Fleer Triple Crown Red HR (3) #34. One other item that I have seen on a sell sheet is a 98 Venezuelan sticker.
