Hey folks,
At one point, I had about 124 unique Khalil Greene autographs--no duplicates. I decided to stop going after everything that was released (no pun intended) and to focus on all his 2002-2003 cards only. Still, there are a few non-2002-2003 cards that I decided to keep because they are favorites of mine. Those include:

2006 SPA Lettermen Auto Set: GREENE /75

2006 Topps A&G Wood Mini 1/1

2004 Fleer Sweet Sigs (/150, /30, and /3)

The above and pretty much all his commons and inserts (couldn't really sell them for anything anyway, and I like them more than most people would, I'm sure).

So, back to my question:

Who did you stop collecting? (or severely cut back collecting)
What did you decide you just had to keep?

Thanks,
Anthony

I had collected Mariano Rivera heavily from 2003-2006 but afterwards focused more on O'Neill so my Rivera collection took a backseat for a while. Eventually I stopped altogether. I have been planning to unload most of my collection for some time now....I have well over 600 different cards mostly from 1992-2005 including a handful of autos. I haven't had the opportunity to list anything yet...I am hoping someone will purchase the entire collection off my hands.

Only noteworthy card I am planning to keep is this auto:

This is a non-baseball player, but if you click the link below you will see I had quite the collection going. I honestly thought he was going to be a solid NBA'er. Shawne Williams

I quit collecting him once I realized it was just a waste of money to continue pick stuff up of his. I still have everything I have picked up, mainly because I am not sure it is worth the hassle of listing everything on ebay with the fees and such.

I used to only collect Helton. I got to the point where I was overwhelmed by how much he had out there. His autos were pretty expensive and he literally has thousands of different GU cards. I like to be able to pick up most of the cards of a player, and with Helton and my budget it was impossible. I still have everything, and occasionally pick up cards of him.

I had a small collection of David Murphy going for about a year or two. Still have all the cards, will probably list them soon/whenever he starts to do better. I just started to collect Hank Greenberg and my interest for Murphy disappeared. But in your case I would keep the cards that you feel are unique and you will never see again if you decide to get rid of them. I llove your collection, I always enjoy when you add to it, and I think you have some really awesome stuff.
