Thats great...I remember that day well,Cubs /Cardinals on fox baseball game of the week,and Joe G. talking to fans with the microphone,stating the game had been cancelled.And found out Kile had passed away.

Thanks for profile. I was living in Chicago when Darryl Kile died. That was just eerie feeling being around the ballpark then.

Kile's curveball was so good, yet so ineffective in Colorado that I think he may have helped the Rockies shape their pitching staff with more sinker/slider type pitchers.

Nothing. I'm just doing it for fun. Or do you mean how much have I earned from the blog? If so, something like 25 cents :lol: I'm not really doing it for the money, just a fun side project for me.

You know, I didn't really consider this when I was writing this but that does make a lot of sense. Curveball pitchers still get eaten alive in Colorado.
