Chipper Jones.

As for why, just ask his Baby'sMamas and then the ex-wife he just dumped for a younger Model. And his clueless Tweets don't help.

I have no problem with Players having tons of chicks, Pat Burrell-Derek Jeter style, but playing around while Married with kids? Or preaching Morals? And then playing yourself off as "Mr. America"? That's what does it for me, really chafes me and Chipper is the Leader Hypocrite in baseball.

Texiera was a jerk IP, so was Cano, unless you were an attractive 20ish young lady. But MO and O'Neill were great, especially with the kids, which counts much more to me...

Wow I didn't know that about Chipper, thanks for sharing.

Kirk Gibson. He was always a jerk to fans when he played in Detroit yet everyone still loved him anyway. And shortly after he retired, he was the color commentator for Tigers games. One game, he went off on Josh Lewin, the play by play guy, because Lewin questioned a player's action. Gibson tore Lewin a new one and used the "you don't know what you're talking about because you never played the game" card.

Signed for $252 million and changed his image from a great young player to your typical greedy SOB, typical modern day athlete in the eyes of the average MLB fan.
So signing a contract that he was offered is a bad thing?

David Ortiz is a genuinely nice human being. My buddy is good friend with his brother, he said not only is Ortiz a nice guy, but he is absolutely selfless when it comes to helping people and kids out in the DR. He said he is the kind f guy that would give you the shirt off his back. Another buddy of mine told me a good story about him once as well. My buddy said he was walking down the street in Boston and he heard a group of kids across the street start yelling at a car that was stopped at the traffic light. My buddy was curious to see what all the commotion was so he stopped walking to watch and see what was going on. He said when the light turned green one of the cars pulled over and the driver got out and walked over to the little kids and started signing autographs and talking and palling around with the kids. The driver of the car was David Ortiz.

I can confirm that. Have a friend that waitressed at a restaurant in Boston that players would come into. She said Ortiz would go out of his way to be nice to people, even if they interrupted him during his meal. Also tipped very well.

The biggest jerk was Papelbon.

I'm a Yankee fan and not a Red Sox hater but the two guys I hated were Papelbon and Schilling. Still can't stand either one of them.

Nobody in Rhode Island, that's for sure! But seriously, when he had his place in Kennett Square, I knew ALOT of guys who met him and said he was great. We called him "Red Light" 'cuz anytime the camera was on he would find it or talk too much...

Why Votto and Mickelson?

Mickelson is a ******! I can't stand how he carries himself on the course. There's a reason his nickname is #Figjam . And a famous quote by a tour player when asked about Phil being such a great guy responded, "You don't know the Phil we know." The guy XXXXXes about his taxes despite being a freaking billionaire and I've seen him tip his hat on bogeys for Christ-sake. The guys entire persona is built to fish for praise from the crowd. Totally phony in my book.

Votto? I'm not as strong-opinioned on but I didn't appreciate some of the smirks he gave the Brewers last home stand vs. the Reds.
