I don't have any pack-pulled cards like that, but I personally love the practice - I like all inscribed autos for that matter, but the Bible verse ones are especially cool IMO.

The only collectible item I have is an IP bat auto from Butler - when he signed, I asked him to put down his favorite verse, which turned out to be Jeremiah 29:11

I know everyone might not like it, but I like when guys put inscriptions. It gives you a more personal look at the player. I tend to forget sometimes that there's a person behind the signature.

On a side note. I went to college with Frank Tanana's twin daughters. The weirdest thing was every time I saw them or talked with them all I could think about was how they looked like female versions of his 88 Donruss card. :lol:

I was telling a friend about this post... she's a girl and I wanted to tell her about the awesome female submission bible verse I learned about.


I told her how lots of baseball players are good Christians, and put a bible verse under their auto. "You know, like John 3:16... but none of them are that generic."
