One of these is not like the other:
Players, OPS+, Year, Age
1 Mel Ott.................165 1929 20
2 Alex Rodriguez........160 1996 20
3 Ty Cobb................167 1907 20
4 Mickey Mantle........162 1952 20
5 Ted Williams...........160 1939 20
6 Al Kaline................162 1955 20
7 Ted Williams...........162 1940 21
8 Jimmie Foxx............173 1929 21
9 Eddie Mathews........171 1953 21
10 Sam Crawford........167 1901 21
11 Rogers Hornsby......169 1917 21
12 Joe Jackson...........193 1911 21
13 Ty Cobb................169 1908 21
14 Cesar Cedeno........162 1972 21
Cesar Cedeno had a lot of success out of the gate, but he was playing in the Astrodome where hitters died. He hit for the cycle in both 1972 and 1976. In his five seasons from 1972-1976, he stole at least 50 bases each season, batted .320 twice, and had an OPS+ of 142 over that period (good for 5th best over those years, behind Joe Morgan, Willie Stargell, Reggie Jackson, and Rod Carew). He also won the Gold Glove all 5 seasons, and was a 4 time All Star.
He played 12 years for the Astros, and stole 487 bases (still the Astros All Time leader).
