I made the seller a fair offer based on what they have been selling for and he counters with an offer of $24.99.

Um, what's the point?

Maybe if he counters with $24.99 you'll bite? He must work in retail, or did at one point to offer something like that.

Move on. I can't stand when some has an opening bid of 12.99 say and
a bin of 12.99. you could always so you would pay more, but what is the point too.
Maybe I should summit a best offer of what you did and see if he understands what they go for.

heck maybe we all should from on here. LOL:

he wants $25 for it.

Blame the "Hall of Fame"
yeah but he would take 24.95 though, so that must be the best offer LOL

Well, 2 of the 3 that sold in the last 2 weeks went for $26+ so his price is pretty fair already...one went for $16, but I've tracked several of them, and $25-$30 is what they've been going for, and a couple went for over $30.

cant believe that bin didnt hit. looks like a awesome deal. they were selling for over $30

as for the counter, the seller is pretty much looking for the bin price, in which he should not offer best offer option....

I tried to make a counter-offer for more than the BIN before to a clown. Suffice to say, ebay doesn't let you do that.

I then countered with a penny off of the BIN and blocked the bidder.

Thats what I have been doing.Granted once in awhile I forget to reprice things after the initial release but other than that my pricing is pretty fair. What many buyers don't realize that I don't need to unload anything for less than what I am asking. The items that need to be unloaded wuick are priced accordingly.

Last night I was able to win one of these cards for $18.50.
This is in the ballpark of the "fair" offer that I made. Was I a little low? Yes, but I fully expected to have some dialogue with the seller to meet in the middle.
Oh well, it pays to be patient. :D

It is possible that the seller included the Best Offer feature by mistake and was unable to remove it...or didn't know how to remove it....then again, maybe he took your offer as a waste of his time.
