Give me a letter grade.

Always with my bench I try to pick some unproven players (Wieters, Morrison) and potential breakouts (Cruz, Dukes). Best pick: Soriano with 27th pick overall. Worst pick: Jhonny Peralta when Troy Tulowitzki was still available (skipped over him by accident).

Teagarden will be a sub in May.

C - Taylor Teagarden
1B - James Loney
2B - Robinson Cano
SS - Jhonny Peralta
3B - David Wright
OF - Alfonso Soriano
OF - Nick Markakis
OF - Matt Kemp
UT - Justin Upton
P - LA Dodgers

BENCH

C - Matt Wieters
1B - Logan Morrison
1B - Casey Kotchman
SS - Michael Young
OF - Nelson Cruz
OF - Elijah Dukes

I do not like your bench very much. Young is a great player, and if he gains 3rd eligibility then i like it better. I would actually start him over Peralta when the Rangers are at home

Your Utility is an OF, yet two of your bench players are also OF? You are also carrying to 2 backup 1st basemen. I probably would have tried to get a backup 2nd

Do you make daily or weekly moves

Love your OF and Upton as you Utilty has major upside. Dodgers should have a pretty good staff.

I am not sure if I would have had as many Dodgers bats on my team since you have their pitching. If the bats go cold, you will not do well in hitting and your pitching will suffer because they will not wins.

If Cano can bounce back and have a soldi year, your team should be pretty good.

Since i have done a league like this I can not give a grade. I would however be shocked if your team did not at least compete for the top positions

yah i have a reasoning for my bench. if the players do not amount to anything i can always drop them and pick up someone off the FA list that i would've drafted in their spots anyway.

there wasn't a back up 2b worth carrying so that was out the window. i was going to pick kinsler with my 2nd pick but he went right before me.

i do make weekly moves if necessary but my starting lineup is pretty much set in stone except for teagarden.

i tried to combine power with speed which is why my first three picks were david wright, markakis, and soriano. all three of them could have 30/30 seasons.

kemp is also capable of having a 30/30 season. justin upton could hit 30 hrs. peralta is good for 20. i am relying on wieters and upton to do well, i know that.

also nelson cruz just has raw power.

you have to remember though, there aren't 10 guys a year hitting 50 HR's. i mean ryan ludwick was in the top 5 in HR's last year with 37. only 2 guys got 40 HR's. and i wasn't wasting picks on adam dunn, ryan ludwick, carlos delgado, and jermaine dye early on.

pujols went 1st, i had 3rd pick overall and by the time it came back to me, ryan howard, ryan braun, manny ramirez, miguel cabrera, Arod, carlos quentin, and prince fielder were already gone. i think i did rather well combining power and speed.
