Now that each NFL team has played 2 games you can get an idea of who the good and bad teams are. This contest will run for the length of the regular season, starting this weekend and ending after week 17.
Object of the contest:
To predict how many COMBINED TOTAL points for each week will be scored throughout the entire NFL. So it's not just one game each week, but all of the games combined into 1 prediction.
Rules:
1. You must have your point prediction in BEFORE the first game of that week. So if there is a Thursday night game, you must have your predictions for the week submitted before the kickoff of the Thursday night game. So make sure you pay attention to the schedule.
2. No editing of your point predictions once the first game of that week has started. If you edit your prediction after the first game of the week has started your prediction for that week will be invalid.
3. You may not enter the contest after Week 3 and once you've entered you must submit your predictions each week in order to stay in the contest. If you forget or skip a week you will be eliminated, so it's essential that you submit your prediction each week. The reason for this rule is so that if you forget one week, you don't come back the next week and double your point prediction for that week to make up for missing the previous week.
Tiebreaker:
In case of a tie at the end of the contest, which is highly unlikely, the person closest to the actual combined total points without going over will be the winner.
Prizes:
Grand prize - $200 gift to ocsportscard.com
Second place - $100 gift to ocsportscard.com
