I chose '08 it is kind of retro-futuristic :? the '05 wasn't bad either

I'm partial to the 2005 design. I don't like the black borders as they show damage really easily and the last coupld of designs with the round letter backgrounds look cheesy. The 2010 design is by far my least favorite design. It looks kinda like an old Royal Rookies release with the flaired design on the side of the cards. Great poll.

I personally think that the 2004 design is the best they've put out in the last 20 years. The little foil silhouette in the corner is an outline of the player for each individual card, and the photography is top notch. The black version /54 looks even better.


And color me crazy, but I don't think Derek Jeter has a base card in 2010 Topps.

My top three are:

1. 2003 - I like the little head shot, like from the '63 and '83 sets.
2. 2004 - classy design.
3. 2007 - the black is cool

2008. Like Sub said, it's both throw-back and progressive at the same time.

With 2005/2004 pretty much tied. I like the white.

The quality in the 2003 set sucked something awful. 2005 was the best.

I like the 2005 Design and the 2009 Design the best with 2002 the least. I didn't know the 2010's look that nice so you helped Topps because I will get a box or two for TTM. For some reason, I have that cramped up Pujols 2010 card in my head and it looks to busy.

Technically, you are wrong... a decade is a period of 10 years....doesn't need to start at any one period, althoug people refer to decades as the 50s, 60s, etc..but technically a decade is just a span of 10 years.
