just wondering what is the most popular here. tons of prospectors, but a lot of 90s insert fans here. also a good mix of old school collections.

i liked the Gu cards of 2002-2005 from Donruss and UD. There were some pretty cool ideas like game specific cards and gloves cards of HOF'ers like Jimmie Foxx.

Of those the 1950's, but if pre-war were a category I would go with that.
"Pre 1950's" is too vague. In my humble opinion, you should just change that to "Pre-War." Most people consider that to be anything before WWII, so you pretty much have all the good "pre 1950's" sets in there. You would really only be leaving out the 1949 Leaf and 1948/49 Bowman issues (which I will give you are great).

I love 1950's cards. The 1951 Bowman Mantle and Mays rookie cards. The classic 1952 Topps set that started it all. 1953 Topps has those awesome portraits. 1954's got Hank Aaron's rookie card. I could go on and on...love the 50's.

1950s, the Golden Era of baseball cards.
The Bowmans and Topps cards were gorgeous.
The players, Willie, Mickey, Duke, Hank, DiMaggio's final season in '51, Feller, Satchell Paige...
My Dad grew up in the '50s and collecting cards back then.

My second favorite baseball card era is the '80s, because that's when I first seriously collected cards, so there are lots of great memories of building sets and trading with friends.

I love an mostly collect vintage, but as a kid the cards I always longed for were Ripken, Gwynn, Sandberg, Puckett, and McGwire RC's. To this day that hasn't changed, and I've amassed huge 80's rookie collections of those guys and almost every other major RC 1980-1985.

I started collecting in the 80's so I chose that.
I loved that you got gum.
I didnt care that they made 5,000,000 Jesse Barfields as long as I got one of them, I was happy and it would make my week as I would look at it every night.
And I got a certain feeling when I would pull a Topps Rookie Cup card (didnt matter who) that I cant describe.

My years of innocence I guess drove my vote.

that sounds about right.
overall 90s hands down, but I would trade the first 3 years away for 2000,1,2.
IMO current decade started good but kinda fell apart

I picked the 70's. While the cards from the 50's are wonderful, I have such an attachment to the 70's cards. First started collecting in the mid 70's and they will always be special to me. :)
