I don't see why they don't surprise everyone with an "exquisite baseball" and put like one mlb logo patch with multiple cut autos per case.

No because in 2005, DLP was done. Nothing else to make, the end (didnt work out that way in the end though) so empty the closet.

UD will be making 17 sets next year, all using the MLBPA license, so it wont be clearing out the drawers and hangers. It has the right to use images of 1400 players I believe.

I do expect better things though because they wont have to pay MLB's insane licensing fees which should make them abke to put better GU and autos more frequently.

2/3 of the pulls on our 'Wall of Fame" are from UD products. I will certainly be expecting some rockin products from them.

don't expect anything to change. Dick will just put that money in his pocket instead of reducing the pricepoint of the box at retail because of that one less licensing expense or reinvesting the licensing expense savings to increase the quantity of the better autos/relics inserted into the product.

p.s. I voted they won't pull a 2005 Donruss because of the fact they are still producing baseball sets.

I'm curious to see how the Exquisite basketball hits come out, it was released today, since the same thing is happening with NBA cards (Panini taking over) it will be a good judge to see how baseball does.
