Current TCC poll indicates 10-8 in favor of BV whereas here it's 6-51.

Wow... there's (as of this post) 6 people who remain committed to "book value"? That must be rough at times...

Beckett is a guide, nothing more. It's a "best case scenario" type of pricing.

Ebay completed listings IS reality.

I use sale values for trading here but the only problem with them is:

Auctions have horrible titles (ending cheaper)
Auctions end at 4-5 in the morning (ending cheaper)
24 Hour auctions that don't have the time to reach the levels of its counter parts(ends lower)

And Finally BIN Auctions by seller that have no Idea what the card is worth(ends cheaper)

this causes some members to pull the "one just ended for 50" line when a cards has consistently sold near 90

Actually use BV for trading, but I haven't traded for a while.

SV for everything else.

I take BV divide by SV and multiply by what I think it is worth.

Anyways I used BV as "a guide" but cancelled my subscription and don't buy one off the rack that much, mainly stick to SV(ebay completed listings) where applicable.
