i bet he is the 1st loser in that race and ends up with 2nd place. I like him long term but think he still needs to figure somethings out.

How many players from last years draft class will be better than Gordon Beckham when it is all said and done over under 3

I love watching him pitch. He's got some of the best raw stuff I've ever seen.

They just said it on ESPN, his fastball has more movement than most pitchers in the majors, his curveball is sharp and can be devastating, and his changeup is very solid as well. Now it's just a matter of him putting it all together, limiting mistakes, and being consistent. Once he does that, he will easily be one of the best in baseball.

He's struggled lately, but what people seem to forget is that he's 20 years old and already has 9 wins in the majors this season. I am a huge Tiger fan, Porcello is my favorite player, and I have money invested in him with cards...and I'm not worried whatsoever. People with talent like him don't come around very often.
Isnt that what the Minor Leagues are for?

Yes, but the Tigers' success is what matters, not an individual player. They needed the best rotation they could get going into this year and Porcello was one of the top 5 pitchers.

And what do ya know, he's got 9 wins. In the majors. He's helping the team win which is all that really matters.
