I just don't see the excitement.......I can't imagine his stuff increasing any time soon.

Check back here if he hits a walkoff home run or goes 4/4. Or if he gets a 2 minute hype session on ESPN.

My point is his stuff is already very pricey.

Aren't you the guy that dumped a ton of money into Max Scherzer and Tommy Hanson when they got called up?

Regardless of how pricey it is now if he does well prices will go up. His chromes at $40 are 1/3 of Longoria's last Sep. and those still had room to double.

I'm the dope, while you're holding onto probably $2,500 worth of Hanson stuff?

Even if you did buy those dirt cheap, why hold? In your own words, "his stuff is already very pricey"

Your exact words were "dumped a ton of money into Tommy Hanson when he was called up" ~ It has been almost 10 months since I bought that stuff, maybe longer. Sold some and made a ton of profit.....sitting on a bit for when he wins ROY. I just sold the BGS10s I had of the blue and regular chrome so those are gone as of last weeks ago.

If you made a lot of money, well done.

But I find it a little hypocritical for you to hate on the idea of holding Posey stuff because it is too expensive, when by the looks of your bucket, you're doing the same thing with a lot of pricey guys.

You are comparing apples and oranges in my opinion. You are talking about a guy whose team is in the hunt for a playoff berth and is led my a rookie phenom and is chasing a pitcher who is one bad game away from losing his edge in the voting.....why not hold on another week or two? He was winning out of the gate and everyone saw him as a potential superstar......I rolled the dice, sold a bit at a time.....when I broke even I kept the rest and if I need the $ for football then so be it. I think Hanson is an anomoly.

I saw Holland as a dud and Porcello as a dud and sold early and often, Hanson I was going to take a risk all along due to his preceived dominance.......after his first bad game I was still buying his stuff.

Sorry to jump the gun but I found it strange how someone thought they knew when I bought my stash.

Who is Wossa, since I know he pretty much buys superfractors... And never sells them correct?

Is he a member here? Any information about him would be appreciated.

 Coming from an A's fan....

I said it tongue in cheek obviously. Unless you're referring to Todd Van Poppel, that doesn't make sense. Our prospects have done quite well for themselves.

I have never said anything against your A's prospects... No need to be defensive... I was adding some humor.

He is, and he lurks around here, quietly.
