So I have been lucky enough to get a hold of 3 of the 10 Cliff Lee Museum Autos. I feel I was able to get them all at a good enough price that I will be able to sell 2 of them to cover the price of the one I want to keep....

This one just ended tonight just hurting my chances...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Topps-Marq ... 4cfa625238

The seller somehow forgot to use the words "Auto" "Autograph" "Signed" "Signature" anywhere in the title....

REALLY????

Guess I will have to hold them long enough that it disappears from ebay completed searches.

More then likely the redemptions won't be filled and you'll recieve a replacement. So I wouldn't worry about resell value too much

What makes you think Lee won't sign?

I know topps sucks and doesn't push the issue of players signing.

But, I think Cliff Lee is a man of the people and signs yearly.

He'll sign if he gets the opportunity. I'm just of the school that any redemption is a failed redemption. Spoke my mind without an explanation. Redemptions are obsolete. If you don't have the cards, don't make them. \

I didn't mean to derail the thread, but when this happens as a result of a poor listing, it can be kind of lame. I personally feel that a card with a 10 print run, should hold value based on the scarcity of the card. If it ends up being an attractive card 10 months or so down the road when its actually in hand, then you have even less to worry about

I think Lee will sign, Topps is throwing out a lot of redemptions, but I don't know of people who've had a problem with Lee autos in the past, that's really unfortunate that the seller forgot to use any of those words.

I think you have overestimated the value as basic research shows that other Museum Collection auctions have sold for roughly the same price, whether or not auto, autograph, etc. were included in the title or not.

And consider that all of the Museum Collection cards are autographed, and it's a huge chase for the set..."auto" and variations of it aren't going to be that important with it so known.

I actually think I am 100% spot on.... Cliff Lee Autos in a Philly uniform sell absolutely INSANE.... Check out these... Yes just Topps60 Autos... (From series 2 in a phils uni)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-TOPPS-SERI ... 3f0e2d5325

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Topps-Seri ... 45fd19f7a9

Check out the exact same topps60 auto from series 1 in a different uni...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Topps-60-C ... 4cfa348ac7

I have seen others sell even cheaper... along with every single one of his other autographs that go dirt cheap...

The 2011 Duals of halladay and lee are in some cases selling for $350.

The sale was bogus.

The ones I purchased, were not on ebay. I did see what the other 2 sold for.

There is always a chance new cards will settle a bit even if #d that low. Once the few that want them the most get theirs the others may start to drop.
