That made you go wow. Doesn't have to be a high dollar card. Just one that all your friends wanted to trade for or was just really cool

All my cards that I had pulled when I was a kid are gone..

My mom threw them out when I moved out..
(she still apologizes for doing it today!)

I just tell her that they were only baseball cards..

I was trying more than anything to pull a Griffey Donruss or Fleer RC in 1989. Couldn't do it, I ended up buying a Fleer RC in a card shop and trading for a Donruss RC. I still have the Griffey I bought in the card shop though.

So... fast forward 20 years and I'm in a card shop that was selling an almost full box of 1989 Fleer cello packs. I bought the whole box telling myself that I was going to finally pull a Griffey RC, sure enough pulled two of them. Sweet redemption.

Otherwise, pulling a Barry Bonds Topps Rookie was pretty cool back in the day.

Do you guys remember those Denny's Upper Deck Hologram cards? I remember I would go there constantly in 1992 to eat when I was a kid and ended up collecting that set, even had the collecter's book for them.

The holograms you got for eating a grand slam. Those were great

Didn't they come in a random pack? I remember eating there and at the time, Roger Clemons was my favorite player. I got a hologram card of Clemons on the Jays. Loved it.

In 95'(My senior year of High School) I ripped about 2 cases worth of Bowman's Best and pulled 3 Vlad Rc Refractors. I moved out of my parents house in 98' and I haven't seen them since.
