Might be a good way for the Jennings and Belcher fans of the world to find their white whales. :)

Can't find it in the Big Beckett. Some Pre-Production.

That's why the Big Beckett is a waste of time and money. Buy the big SCD Annual. I just got the 2009 edition over the weekend, and I can tell you that your card is part of a 5 card Pre-Production set. (A. Jones, J. Gonzalez, Bonds, Jeter, and Nomar. Books there for $3.)

And here's one of my favorite cards ever, 1994 Upper Deck All-Time Heroes 1954 Topps Archives. Pulled it back in the day, and I love it.

I'll go ahead and break my rule. I have never seen another copy/scan of this card. It's #d9 on the reverse.

I pulled it myself and I've never seen another one around here. It's from 2002 Upper Deck Vintage - the print run was never released on these but it's generally believed to be less than 20.

I'll also post one non-baseball. This is from a regional Packers team set UD put out exclusively through Shopko stores in 1998 to commemorate the second of their back-to-back Super Bowl trips. They added this Nitschke tribute card as an insert since Ray passed away unexpectedly in March of '98. Serial numbered to 66, it was a full ten years since the set was released before I ever even laid eyes on one of them. I was convinced it was only a rumor until this one showed up on ebay late last year and I was able to grab it.

Man Billy I love that card every time I see it. Was there any bidding war for the Nitschke?

Thankfully no. I had an EXTREMELY high snipe in on it and ended up being the only last second bidder. I would have literally cried if I hadn't won it.
