Never ever seen a patch like this one in a card (would assume it was fake if I hadn't pulled it myself; a bit of a consolation prize for pulling my second of the same card within minutes.)

This one from back when /50 was rare:

This one was basically unknown for 10 years before one surfaced on eBay recently (and sold for over $5000.)

I've seen one in person, in good condition too. Owner was an elderly guy, lives in So Cal, have no idea what his name is or anything else about him, but I did see the card.

I've seen that piazza on ebay a couple times.

Notice it has a tan box and the regulars had a black box, silvers silver, and gold was gold.

It may be a printing error, but I know my brother-in-law found the Bonds just like it. I've never heard anything about it (unlike the white letter variation, etc)
