Anyone recognize it? It was actually featured in Beckett at one point. If I remember correctly, this was his first 1/1 in a Red Sox uniform to hit eBay so I paid quite the premium for it.

A couple of things I never understood about the 98 Topps Gold Label 1/1s. How many are there? One for each Class? (one gold, one black, one red?) Also, is the front identical to the normal cards and only the back different. I LOVE the chunky serial number - wish they would have slapped that on the front of the card no matter how gaudy it looked.

Yup, 9 1/1 cards in all, one for each class and color (Class 1 Gold, Class 1 Black, Class 1 Red; Class 2 Gold, etc.) And really tough to read the serial numbering, I always wondered how many ended up unknowingly in common bins, similar to the early refractors (1994 especially).
