This was easily one of the most exciting trade deadline weeks of my lifetime.

A little breakdown of all the trades:

OKC sends Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic to Boston; Boston sends Nate Robinson, Kendrick Perkins to OKC
Boston sends Luke Harangody, Semih Erden to Cleveland; Cleveland sends 2nd rd pick 2011 to Boston
OKC sends Morris Peterson, DJ White to Charlotte; Charlotte sends Nazr Mohammed to OKC
Boston sends Marquis Daniels to Sacramento; Sacramento sends 2nd rd pick 2017 to Boston
Houston sends Shane Battier, Ishmael Smith to Memphis; Memphis sends Hasheem Thabeet, 1st Rd Pick 2011, DeMarre Carroll to Houston
Houston sends Aaron Brooks to Phoenix; Phoneix sends Goran Dragic, 2011 1st Rd Pick to Houston
Charlotte sends Gerald Wallace to Portland; Portland sends Joel Pryzbilla, 2 1st Rd Draft Picks, Dante Cunningham, Sean Marks to Charlotte
Cleveland sends Mo Williams, Jamario Moon to LAC; LAC sends Baron Davis, 2011 1st Rd Pick to Cleveland
Atlanta sends Mike Bibby, Jordan Crawford, 1st Rd Draft Pick 2011, Maurice Evans to Washington; Washington sends Kirk Hinrich, Hilton Armstrong to Atlanta
Utah sends Deron Williams to New Jersey; New Jersey sends Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, 2 1st Rd Draft Picks to Utah
Charlotte sends Marcus Thornton, Cash to Sacramento; Sacramento sends Carl Landry to Charlotte
New Jersey sends Troy Murphy, 2012 2nd Rd Pick to Golden State; Golden State sends Dan Gadzuric, Brandan Wright to New Jersey
Toronto sends Miami's 2011 1st Rd Pick to Chicago; Chicago sends James Johnson to Toronto
Denver sends Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter, Renaldo Balkman to New York; New York sends Raymond Felton, Timofey Mozgov, Danilo Gallinari, Wislon Chandler, 1st Rd Pick (2014 or later), 2 Warriors 2nd Rd Picks, $3million to Denver, Anthony Randolph, Eddy Curry to Minnesota; Minnesota sends Corey Brewer to New York, Kosta Koufos to Denver

I mean, seriously, FOUR stars changed teams (I consider Wallace a star), a minor star (Jeff Green), tons of draft picks, solid young players (Chandler, Felton, Gallinari, Dragic, Anthony Randolph), reliable veterans (Shane Battier, Kendrick Perkins, Mo Williams, Baron Davis, Kirk Hinrich, Nate Robinson, Troy Murphy).

Not to mention the various rumors or trades that didn't happen (OJ Mayo to Indy, Chris Paul to Orlando, Stephen Jackson to Dallas, Tayshaun Prince to Dallas, etc).

So, who's your winners and losers? I will divulge mine in a little bit.

Definetly the biggest trade deadline in the NBA.

OKC huge winner in Perkins trade, Jeff Green didnt give them much more then 15 points a game. This trade puts OKC to challenge for the west title. They also got Nazr who should give them even more help defending the lakers, spurs, mavericks bigs. Go from no real center to two very solid centers in one day.

Boston gave up Perkins, hoping that Shaq, and Jermaine make it back come playoff time.
They should be able to get Troy Murphy who was a great player while in Indiana, which should help make up a little bit for that. The suprising thing was giving up Erden for a 2nd rounder, after developing him, he has been playing some solid minutes for them with the 2 Oneals injured.

Memphis gets Battier to help them make a playoff run, Thabeet hadnt played much, and maybe Houston can get him going. Battier can help them defend the 2 and 3 in the west.

The Brooks for Dragic trade dosent give either team much, but Brooks should be able to learn from Nash, and if they keep him, take over when Nash leaves.

Portland in my opinion got a lot better by acquiring Wallace. Along with Roy(assuming he comes back at least somewhat by the playoffs), with Matthews, Batum, Aldridge, should make them a top 5 in the west. And gives them a great scoring option, and solid defender.

The Cleveland, La, trade means nothing for either team player wise. But the Clippers now have $, to add in the summer. And a solid pg, in Mo Williams who might thrive playing with Griffin, and being in a better city.

Hawks improve somewhat with Hinrich, wont mean much when it comes to playing the bigger teams. Like the Bulls, Heat, Celtics. Still not enough to beat any of them in a 7 game series.

Utah came out great, getting a solid young point guard, and Favors who can develop.IF the Nets can keep Deron in NJ/Brooklyn, they should be able to attract a FA.

New Orleans def needed another big, and Carl Landry is a great addition.

The Nuggets have amazing depth now, if they keep the players they got.The Knicks in my opinion still dont have enough to be considered elite.
The Nuggets are 2-0 since the trade, beating the Grizzlies(5 games over 500), and the Celtics(with the big four). Having Jr Smith, Chandler, AND Felton off the bench, should keep them in the playoffs. With Nene, Lawson, Gallinari starting. Solid team, and according to Barkley would beat the Knicks in a 7 game series.

I think Gerald Wallace is still under-rated and will make a big difference up there. But I've liked alot of their moves the last coupla years that haven't worked out. It'll be interesting to see if they can now win a series, or even two, with the right match-up.

And I don't understand the Clippers-Cavs deal for either side. :?

Lakers should have traded for a decent guard. Any team with a young fast guard that attacks the basket will beat them everytime. They value Bynum too much, he's a injury waiting to happen every season and they should have went after either Williams or Harris. The Spurs will probably beat them this year in the western conference playoffs because Parker is exactly the type of guard that the Lakers can't defend. One can hope but I don't think they will do it this year. It was good while it lasted.

I wouldn't write off LA yet, but I would definitely agree that they value Bynum WAY too high.

I can see that view 3 years ago, but his under-achievement, and not all of it due to injury should be a red flag. Trade him and let someone else wait for his game to show up.
