I am just going to list my top IP, TTM, and my favorite in each category as well... do this however you want.

Top TTM: Dolores Black.

-She is the seamstress of the American flag that Neil Armstrong placed on the moon. It's a really unique signature and I had to have it as part of my collection.

Top IP: Jim Thome

-I was a big Thome fan way before his stint as a Twin, and while I missed getting him IP in a Twins uni, I was lucky enough to get a nice mini helmet signed before a game when he returned to MN.

Favorite TTM: Les Layton

-I took on a "project" of writing to older baseball players who don't get much recognition for their playing time, and I like to send them questionaires to see. They enjoy reading my letters and signing my items. I wrote to Mr. Layton and received a typed (but personalized) note from a family member of his stating that he was not able to fill out my questionaire (due to age) but he was able to sign my index card. She also stated that he doesn't hear a lot about his career and that it was awesome for him to hear my letter. They included a nice packet of info on his career.

Favorite IP: Glen Perkins

-I don't buy much Perk stuff anymore (just caught up in other projects) but it was cool to meet the guy I collect 3 times.

I had a great IP year (attended my 2nd MLB Fan Fest, Futures Game, meeting my favorite player, etc). I'll try to be very concise

My favorite IP: Meeting the guy I mainly collect for the first time.

among other stuff...

Best IP: I got 5 HOF's on ROMLB at the Fan Fest, but their signatures are very common and not as hot as this guy was on 2011

Best TTM

Despite going SALEing, FISTERing, and even enjoying some SANDy beaches (get it? get it?), nothing beats the joy of a Big Mac. :P There was some close calls to topping this, but "I was lovin' it" ever since I got it in back in March.

Best IP

This guy had high expectations as a 1st Round Pick for the Dodgers, and he was able to meet them with ease. Nice guy and I like what I saw from this youngster and expect him teaming up with former Loon Kershaw really soon (I have a couple of ROMLBs signed, but I can't find the pic of those right now).

Favorite TTM + IP (left was TTM, right was IP and was signed first):

I loved the idea of getting this signed as soon as I saw it, especially with a HOFer and future HOFer on the same card (yes, I know that is still arguable).

Top TTM: Ernie Banks for free on a set card I needed
Top IP: Jim Thome at 2012 Twinsfest. Signed a 16x20 of him

crossing the plate after his walk off HR vs the White Sox in 2010. His line was a zoo and it was soo cold out.

Favorite IP: Josh Hamilton at ST in AZ, just a very nice guy and signed for over an inning after he was taken out of the game.
Close 2nd is Denard Span who signed a 2010 A&G Card with the inscription "let's get denarded" he was such a cool, friendly guy.

Favorite TTM: Vlag Guerrero signed 2 cards for me which I never expected to get back.

In 2011 I was 132 (160 total cards) for 276 on my TTM attempts (so far) for a percentage of 47%

Unfortunately, you guys are going to have to look at my fat, ugly mug a couple of times.

Top TTM: Phil Collins
PhilCollins2.jpg

My wife and I are huge fans of Phil. We love his solo music as well as the work he does with Genesis. He's had a lot of surgeries on his hands, arms, and back the last couple of years, so we weren't sure if he would sign or not. Definitely our top TTM success this year. It's our favorite as well, but I chose a different one to share for that.

Top IP: I am using 2 here. One is just from the meeting (I did get his autograph as well, but the meeting was phenomenal) and the other are autographs. I'll start with the autographs.

Went to RedsFest again this year. I know it's hard to see, but here are the autographs: Yonder Alonso, Zack Cozart, Sam LeCure, Brook Jacoby, Chris Speier, Owner Bob Castellini, Bryan Price, Chris Valaika, Ryan Hanigan, and Devin Mesoraco.

Here is the other

Here I am with Todd Benzinger. My wife and I are were talking with him and just hanging out at RedsFest. We got his autograph and then I asked if he would mind taking a picture with me. We had been talking about the 1990 World Series (the Reds swept the A's), so when we were posing for the picture, he handed me his World Series ring! I was blown away. I couldn't believe he allowed me to wear it for the picture. As a lifelong Reds fan, getting to wear one of their World Series Championship rings was unbelievable. Todd Benzinger gave my wife and I an amazing memory that we will never forget.

Favorite TTM: Sam Wyche

I'm originally from Cincinnati, so I am a lifelong Bengals fan as well. Coach Wyche was so cool that he signed the card I sent, the return envelope under his address, and included a little note! Very awesome success. Got it back in 9 days.

Favorite IP: Chris Sabo

Chris Sabo was a childhood hero of mine. After Pete Rose, he is my all-time favorite Reds player. I got to meet him and talk with him for a few minutes at RedsFest. He signed the baseball for me and posed for a picture. It was awesome just being there and talking to him. I felt like a kid again.
