The early wool jersey cards with vintage patches just gives you the sense that you can go back in time and connect with baseball history many moons ago when the world was so much different than it is now. A more simple time, if you will..

That is a great card. would have been nice to squeeze in a bit more of the patch though.

Thank you for the compliment. Yeah, I hear you, but this is the only Musial bird head patch I have ever seen on a game used jersey card and I have searched for years. It's pretty rare. Most Musial patches are from his number or the Cardinals logo. It also doesn't hurt that this card is #6 /10 which was Stan's number.

Not to worry, Magicpapa, that stuff is great! Also, the DiMaggio pinstripe posted by tramers is pretty sweet as well! Everyone feel free to share vintage wool jersey cards too.

What a beautiful card! Yes he has not had many bird head patch cards. Here is one I have and on the card I wish the window was bigger.

Love the card OP. Love the player as well. He embodied all that I love about baseball and IMO is perhaps the most overlooked all-time great.

I am new here but when I figure out how to post images, I will add some cards to this thread.

I totally agree, Stan was "The Man". I look forward to seeing what you have.
