I'm no Mets fan but I completely agree here.

When two of your 4 best players (not to mention, two of your best pitchers as well) get hurt for substantial periods of time, your team will suffer.

Plus, the team is adjusting to a new ballpark, Wright and Santana seem to be dinged up most of the time and they have been playing with little to no team chemistry for the last 3 years or so, I see them finishing over .500 next year.

Not a chance I get bated into predicting anything about this franchise. I was an advocate of shutting Johan down just for the hell of it and it looks like it would've been a good idea. Maybe they'll sneak into the top 5 of the draft next year...

I think they will make the playoffs. They have some talent there and could be active in free agency.
