Pretty good southpaw rivalry duel going on

Nice game by both starters, & a well played game by both teams overall. Also, I understand the whole righty/lefty matchup thinking, but I'm not sure if I would have pulled Zito after one walk, he was only at 102 pitches at that point. If I was a Giants fan, I'd rather see Zito work around Manny and take my chances with Furcal from the right side.
Since I'm a Dodger fan,all I can say is... MANNNNNNY!

Yes, it was Romo, I was saying I would have left Zito in to face Manny, Zito only had 102 pitches (.88 WHIP) at that point.

Funny observation. Friday when the Dodgers smoked the Giants there were no posts on the boards(I was on my Itouch). Then yesterday when the Giants were winning there was a post or two. Then today when the Giants were leading in a tough game there is a post. I guess the Giants fans only come out of the woodwork when they are leading. Just a observation

Ok, but this initial post was created when the Giants were ahead 1-0. Had it been the Dodgers ahead I doubt any post would have been made. But still I am glad the Dodgers took 2 out of 3, I only figured they would win the opener. Lincy looked great saturday pitching wise very dominant, he looks like a big emo **** otherwise

Zito vs. Kershaw. Both have yet to allow a run and each only given up 3 hits. Kershaw (strikeout pitcher) obviously has way more Ks

Zito used to be that guy.
He had and I think still does have one of the sickest curves.

I was at yesterday's game and stoked to see two of my favorite starting pitchers throw outstanding games. But Manny Ramirez was the difference. When Ramirez stepped into the on deck circle, the crowd stood on their feet and cheered. And when the Chavez Ravine echoes "Manny! Manny! Manny!" I think Ramirez can channel that better than any player. Great finish to a classic game.
