Pretty in Pink, a Cycle and some BP

My three newest Cuddyer pickups. All will be signed by Cuddyer at his next appearance in town, or at the 2010 Twinsfest.

First, a ball used in Cuddyers Cycle Night and autheticated by MLB.

Secondly, a batting practice hat.

Thirdly, a Mothers Day bat of Cuddyer. Amazing piece!!!

And that is after taking some of it off.
Honestly, it was caked on there. The bubble wrap the bat was wrapped in had a bunch on it.
I took on old t-shirt and blotted some if it off, cause there was so much.

Yes, all great pick-ups! I never understood the use of pine tar when batting. Congrats on winning one of his pink bats.

Yeah, first Dome ball for me. I was going to pick one up sometime this year, but now I dont have to.
I am hoping that I can get Cuddy to add "Cycle Night - 5/22/09"

Not sure what color. I will probably do up a few mock ups to see what looks best. Will be between black, blue and red, probably in that order.

congrats on picking up some great game-used items. the pink bat will look awesome signed and hopefully he adds the cycle inscription to the ball. I can't wait to see it all signed.

Awesome pick ups. The bat is sick, but I would have tried to leave as much pine tar on it as possible when you unwrapped it. Cuddy has been caking his bats this year and I love it. For those that don't know, many players cake it on the center brand and then dab their hands in it when at bat for better grip on the bat. I don't think 18 inch rule is on the books or ever inforced anymore. Cuddy is getting Manny, Vlad, Biggio like with how he puts it on. Adds a lot of character to the bat.
Have you looked for and pictures of Cuddy from that game. I would also watch the video of the game on MLB.com and take some still shots. Kyle Hess is your man on that, look him up on GUU site. He is helpful on video matches. See if it was cracked during the game.

I've seen someone else with MLB authenticated ball signed by Cuddy with the cycle inscription on it. I'm sure he won't have any problem doing that. Saw someone on Neshek board with one I think.
