Price Poll: 2006 Sweet Spot Jon Lester Autograph 1/1 RC

Curious for the boards opinion here...

What would a 2006 Sweet Spot Update Black Stitch Black Ink 1/1 RC Autograph of Jon Lester go for on the market?

I think locally it could go for close to $4-500 at a show, but curious to the boards opinion. If this were up ONLINE, what would you estimate for a sell price?

In my opinion, Lester cards continually sells less than they should. Having said that, I would think in the $150-$200 ish range. Yet, I would not be shocked to see it go for more, nor would I be shocked to see it go for less..

I would have to think that the "RC" logo would certainly push it well over $150.

I sold a 2007 1/1 Sweet Spot of him for $250. I think I still have a scan in my Gone section of my bucket. I hope that helps.

Not mine.... yet.

Not even close. Beefy mentioned that he doesn't believe the super has sold, but the Sterling 1/1 went for about 900, and the SPA 1/1 was about 650.

I'd rank them:
1. BC Pros AU Super
2. BS "RC" AU Red
3. SPA "RC" AU 1/1
4. Sweet Spot "RC" AU 1/1
5. BCDP "RC" Non AU Super

The non-auto Superfractor sold, I know that. It was a BIN, $500 I think. I think it was the night of, or maybe the night after, his no-hitter. I was considering it when it came up, but was gone before I could decide.

Whoever is voting that the Lester Sweet Spot 1/1 would sell for less than $150, isn't knowledgable with this specific type of card.

The SPx Josh Johnson sold for $110 shipped, when trade hype was going on. If that thing sold in June / July, it would've hit $200.

I believe that the Sweet Spot '06 is a super product to the '06 SPx. Factor in the Red Sox crazy fans and the fact that most anaylists are predicting a super season for Lester, I see that this card would go over $300 easy, no questions asked.

And again, it's a 1/1 auto of the Red Sox hottest young pitcher. If it were to fun at auction, again, it would hit $300 easily, IMO and could top out at $500.
