I know its Contenders and in football these are the cards to have.... am I nuts for taking the offer?

When I first saw the offer Im like...... SOLD!!!! but now im 2nd guessing it.

There's a Derrick Rose up with a $175 BIN/BO, and Rose usually outsells Mayo. So unless it comes out that these are super SP'd, I think you're doing just fine.

I would sell. I pulled an autograph of his out of Elite Extra and got some nice coin for it. I just wonder how long the interest will be there for pulling out of baseball packs.

Yea I saw that... and the super SP'd part was why I 2nd guessed it. When I pulled it I thought it was $100 card if I got lucky.... but $150 is just too hard to pass up.

Yeah, but Contenders holds no hobby weight in the basketball card world.

Look at Bowman Chrome gold refractors from football. Compared to similar baseball players, they're dirt cheap. Chrome is king on here, but not in other sports. Same holds true for Contenders

I doubt anybody in the set is really really SP'd, even if they were, it's not like in football where there's like 100 different and there's the reputation, and the set collectors. I'd bet some of the baseball guys are the shortest prints, if they did do SP's, so I am interested in seeing the #'s.

Yep.... I emailed them back and told them Id accept the offer. I hate the 2nd guessing that goes on with these types of cards.
