Printing plate rarity question

It has been mentioned before that for sets that have thousands and thousands of cards printed, they use more than one kind of each plate. (More the (1) of each CMYK) Now as we all know companies seem to generally release one of each color.

Would you rather they release one of each color, or all of each color?



I would like to see all of the plates released. They aren't really worth much, but it would be fun if they were pulled more often. I tend to avoid plates, because unless I have the complete set it bothers me a little. If there were maybe 3-10 of each plate released, then it would actually be possible to put together a complete set on a regular basis.

This would probably even make then worth more. If more people felt they'd had a chance to complete a set, they may be willing bid more often on them.

I guess it'd be kinda cool, so long as they were still relatively 'rare'... numbered to 10, max. I like them and have only ever pulled one. It's a neat concept, if not a valuable one.

Pretty sure they did this with Moments & Milestones, yet still called them all 1/1s

i have pulled 3, if they made them less rare it wouldn't be fun to pull anymore...some are already worthless even some first year bowman draft prospects
