Finally dug up that last Fleer pre-production concept item that I won from Ted Taylor on ebay years back. It had no big names, but I really liked the designs. Wish they would have used them instead of the boring crap they actually used!

Picked up these two 1995 Leaf Promos recently:

Have owned 2 or 3 Ripkens in the past but still never seen a Maddux.

Gold foil '96 Donruss Round Trippers promo, the first I've ever seen. I have a couple of gold foil pack inserted varieties - which seem fairly abundant - but I've searched through hundreds of samples to find this.

Found my stash of rare 2004 Upper Deck BreaKeys. These were a test issue for a collectible game that was a huge flop. The keys fit together at the barrels and you twisted them in a "battle." One would break a tab off, and the one that didn't break was the winner. Some colors were rarer than others (superstars were rare) but I don't have the odds anymore. There's a scratchoff code on back too for some online component to the game, all of mine are unscratched. These were fully licensed by MLB and the Player's Association for Upper Deck. Keys are slightly larger than a quarter, and kinda look like keychains. Here's a list of what I have, in order of rarest to most common I believe.

Derek Jeter - Orange
Pedro Martinez - Orange
Pedro Martinez - Purple
Albert Pujols - Purple
Eric Gagne - Purple
Dontrelle Willis - White
Hideki Matsui - White
Alex Rodriguez - Black
Pedro Martinez - Black
Ichiro - Black
Torii Hunter - Black
Mark Prior - Black
AJ Burnett - Red
Brett Boone - Red
Lance Berkman - Red
Jason Kendall - Red
Jason Giambi - Blue
Chipper Jones - Blue
Lance Berkman - Blue
Brett Boone - Blue
Rickie Weeks - Blue x2
Jason Kendall - Yellow x2
CC Sabathia - Yellow
Barry Zito - Yellow
Jay Gibbons - Yellow
Mike Sweeney - Green
Jay Gibbons - Green
Roy Halladay - Green
Jose Vidro - Green
Chipper Jones - Green
CC Sabathia - Green
Todd Helton - Green
Brett Boone - Green

I would probably chase a Dodger, just for the type item, but looks like the only one you have is near the top, and thus tougher.

I played it in Hawaii when ud was previewing it.

It was somewhat fun, definitely more so for kids.

Picked up a couple of lots on ebay, 2002 and 2003 MLB Showdown Promos. They look like the regular Showdown cards, except the foil stamp and different numbering. I can't find info on these, so I don't know if I have them all; 8 are from 2003 (not including the cataloged Pee Wee Reese), 6 from 2002, and 4 are 2002 Strategy. I scanned a few of each as examples.
