I was wondering what everyone's prefered method of prospecting is. I have always been back and forth between having a ton of different cards, of a ton of different prospects; and picking X amount of guys and only buying them. What's your personally choice?

I usally have 2-3 main stashes and some very small stashes along with them.

I will only have a main stash If i have seen them play in person.

I just started my first stashes of just two players (trying my hand, if you will), I have no idea how comparably big or small they are, but they were costly enough for me!

Used to have around 10-12 stashes.

I now have 4 very big ones, and around 2 or 3 more very small ones.

85% of my funds are in 4 different guys.

I currently have 3 BIG stashes of prospects I really believe in, 2 or 3 medium sized stashes of more guys that I believe in but just don't have the money to go as big on them, and a seemingly countless number of 1-3 card stashes of random players just to get my hand in a bunch of different places.

After re-organizing all my stuff and my spreadsheets, I have decided that I am going to move a ton of stuff over the next couple months and concentrate on 4 stashes or fewer, with a limited number of 1-3 card stashes and shorter term flips on the side while I wait to cash in on the bigger ones. It's too tough to stay organized when you have SOME money in 25-30 guys at a time...even if it's not that much.
