Just found out that Nick Martinez has made the Texas Rangers starting rotation! He's a former Vermont Mountaineer!


He's only pitched 32 innings above A ball, so this comes as a bit of a shocker, even if it is only a spot start!

Yeah we are just trying to survive for a while. No starters in our rotation right now were on our opening day rotation last year. Top 3 starters on DL. Another forgot how to throw strikes, and one more guy on the DL. Holding the fort until reinforcements arrive... Hopefully

He had a great year at Myrtle Beach (A+), and was absolutely terrific in his short stint at Frisco (AA). 32 IP, 11 H, 4 ER, 7 BB, 23 K.
