PSA - Unbelievably Good Customer Service

Sent in a fairly large order for me to PSA. I used their monthly special which was at the 45 day service level. They logged the cards in on 9/5 and the grades popped on 9/13 with the cards arriving at my house on Saturday. Needless to say I was very impressed with the speed of service, never seen that turnaround before. The grades were so-so, I'm still new to this grading thing and I definitely have some learning to do. I did learn they are much harder on 70's and 80's cards than pre 1970, or else I just missed some obvious flaws. Here are the grades that came back.

That's a pretty awesome turn-around. Do you know if that's common for PSA to turn it around so quickly even on 45 day service? I've only used Beckett before and their 45 day service seemed like it took 60 days.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll try to post some scans tonight. I should clarify that I was happy with the grades overall, I really expected the mid 70's cards to grade out better. Some of the 7's I thought easy 8's and maybe a couple potential 9's. The pre 1974 submissions were very good and I have no complaints there. This was my 3rd sub since I joined in June, the other two being a total of 17 cards. I have one additional 17 card sub I'm waiting on at the 15 day level. I'll post those results when they pop as well.

You do realize that their service is calculated in business days... not just 45 consecutive days, right?

I do now! No wonder it felt like infinity!!! Either way, sounds like PSA is quicker than Beckett if this thread is any indication of typical PSA turnaround times. I'll be submitting pretty soon, so I'll see for myself.

PSA can be really fast or near their estimated windows. It is all about the size of your sun and what else is there. I normally send 100 cards per sub and about half see this type of fast turn around.
