Pujols hit his 5th grand slam of the season tonight.
He's just one short of the Major League record.
Here's the list:

Don Mattingly 6 -1987
Travis Hafner 6- 2006
Albert Pujols 5 - 2009
Richie Sexson 5 - 2006
Jim Gentile 5 - 1961
Ernie Banks 5 - 1955

Thank goodness. The fantasy team has been suffering through his and Ibanez's slumps.

With the added offense I think he has a great shot at matching the record
if not beating it

best part about mattingly's 6 that year, he had never hit one before that and never hit another after that.

Musta been the 'roids.

Come on man, let's not put a gentleman like Mattingly linked to Roids. If he did he may have continue to play and put up good stat like Rafel Palmerio. Mattingly will not get caught because there was no testing up to 2003. He would retire with several WS ring and be in HOF if he used Roids.
