Obviously still a long way away, but with Hanley down to .342 and Pujols at .329, there's only .013 separating them, and if Hanley slumps and Pujols gets hot over the last 5 games, there's still a tiny chance. He's 3 behind Howard and Fielder for the RBI lead.

That's really a lot to make up over 5 days.

Pujols has actually dropped .002 over the last 10, while Ramirez has dropped .009.

I can't imagine Hanley going 0-fer the rest of the season for him to really drop even .006, and then for Pujols to gain .007 in that time.

It's pretty much in the bag for Hanley.

At the beginning of September I had a whole spreadsheet made up to try to figure out what it'd take Albert to win the triple crown (he was only trailing in BA at that point). Basically, if Albert hit 400 and Hanley hit 200, he'd win. Assuming neither gets another AB tonight and there season AB/game sticks up:

Albert has 14 ABs left.
14-14: .345
10-14: .338
Hanley has 11 ABs left
0-11: .335
4-11: .342

It'd take a miracle.
