I'm almost certain that it is real, though the price is obviously pretty high.

i dont know if its real or fake but its interesting this black and white scan/zerox copy only left the important text in color. Appears to me someone went above and beyond in photoshop to make it appear like something else. That alone would make me run.

though i never seen a hand # one, the auto is in the right spot and kinda looks real.
Agreed. The autograph looks nothing like any fakes that I've seen (and it's a card I've kept tabs on, as seen in the link below.)

I imagine someone sent in one for replacement (after it had been redeemed) and they wanted to send him back one with the exact same serial number, so they did hand numbered it. The autograph as mentioned is spot on.

If you look at the bottom right of the sheet in the scan, it says the form is from June 2000 but the stamp is from Jan 2002. I don't really know what the significance of the june 2000 on the sheet is. It might not matter, just an observation.

 The June 2000 was when that general form was created for use in all post offices.

I think the card in the scan was the original photo copy of the card (notice it's non-auto'd and has the regular serial numbered), most likely taken before he sent it to Fleer.

The USPS form and the receipt I think are just laid over top of the actual photocopy and it was all scanned as one. The card was originally photocopied in B&W, but it was all scanned in color.

That makes sense sly, he should really mention that in the auction.
