Question about 09 Donruss Elite Cases

I opened my case today and what sucked is there were only 2 Hot Boxes.... granted one of the other boxes in the case I did pulled the Black Status Auto 1/1 Mike Leake( which is forsale)... guess my question is, did anyone else not receive 4 hot boxes in the case or cases they have opened.... and to be honest, my case was not that great overall....

I believe it just goes off the number of Autos?

Hot boxes have 6 and regulars have 4 I think.

** UPDATE **
In each 20-box case, 16 of the boxes should yield six autographs

The other four are "hot boxes" and should yield 10 autographs and one mem card for a total of 11 hits

right..... in the card shop they got 4 boxes with 10 autos... believe in the case break I was in, also had 4 boxes with 10 autos

My bad, haven't opened any so wasn't sure of the numbers. I knew it was pretty straight forward though.

so a creepy dealer can stop opening a case after reaching max hot box in a case and then sell the left over boxes?

not a fan of the hot box idea then

almost forces one to buy entire case

I have seen and opened a few hot boxes, I would be VERY happy with the 1/1, as a matte of fact
4 hot boxes still might now = one 1/1
