How can you tell if it is the glossy version? Does it say it on it anywhere? Sounds like a stupid question but the scans on Ebay look the same. Its for a George Brett card. Any help appreciated.

I don't think it says it anywhere on the card, but the front has a high gloss coating. Granted that doesn't help much when you are looking at a scan on eBay, but it's pretty obvious in person.

This is correct^^^^^

The Ken Griffey is a regular score card, the Mcdowell is a glossy. They appear identical to me (Other than the different colored borders. Green/Blue maybe?).

It has been a while since I have seen the two side-by-side, but if I remember correctly the glossy version is a whiter card stock as well.

No, the borders were just part of the set. That set had about 5 different colored borders in it.

There are no differences between the two other than the obvious Glossy front. The only way to tell would be when you get them in hand.

Tilt the card back and forth and look for a little shine. Not a refractor type shine, but just like the shine you see on glossy photo paper compared to regular paper.

I think the Brett I have is probably just the regular. Gonna have to see it side by side with something. The fun of going through old boxes of cards over a weekend. Thanks guys.
