I have a 3 box case of 1990 Topps rack packs and was curious if anyone knows what packaging the Thomas "NNOF" comes out of or was it random? I know it's a long shot but what am I going to do with 1990 Topps sealed? Thanks

I'm not 100% sure about the kind of packs, but I do know that they have all come from NY, VA, MD, NC, SC, and GA. At least that's what people that have been following them for years have concluded.

Which I can attest for at least with NC. My brother pulled on in 1990 here in NC.

You should check out this post and the link in the first post of it. There are other surrounding cards people are looking for as well. Specifically the Biggio AS card.

I busted a rack case of 90 topps 6 or 7 years ago, and pulled a dozen or so Thomas RC's but no NNOF's

To my knowledge there are ZERO known blackless pulls from rack packs.

If you've just "gotta" know, rip one box and if you see any of the key errors, keep ripping.

If you want to have a decent time looking for minor variations that only the OCD and player collectors can love...RIP as well. QC wasn't the best in '90 and there are several distinct runs among many of the cards.

In the end, the odds of pulling a "NNOF" are astronomical, compounded so by the fact you aren't ripping wax, but racks.
